2017 French-American workshop in Translational Chemistry

On July 6th and 7th, 2017 the University of Bordeaux will host the annual workshop of the iREU (International Research Experience for Undergraduates) project.

The project is supported by the NSF (National Science Foundation) and is part of Louisiana State University's Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) program.

Since 2013, 10 to 15 American students are selected each year to participate in this project. The selection criteria include: a previous research experience during the studies, a strong motivation to continue his / her studies in the field of Science and Technology, as well as an excellent university background
. The winning students are offered a 3 to 6 month internship in a research laboratory from one of the following partner universities: in France, at the University of Grenoble, at the Federal University of Toulouse, or at the University of Bordeaux; Or in Belgium, at the Catholic University of Leuven.

All the projects fall under one of the aspects of the "Translational chemistry"
theme, from materials science to chemical and biochemical engineering.

Thus the University of Bordeaux is pleased to invite you to the Franco-American Workshop 2017 on the theme of translational chemistry, on Thursday July 6th and Friday July 7th.
